Wednesday Freedom Group
It is for freedom that Christ set us free. That’s what Paul wrote in Galatians 5:1, and Jesus Himself said that He came to earth so that we may have life and have it to the full (John 10:10). Just imagine that: life abundant. Not barely surviving, but truly living. It means days filled with hope, joy, and purpose. This is the kind of life God always intended for you to have.
Childcare: Provided as part of the Wednesday Evening Activities. Location: Ministry Center - Conference Room Pastor Gene and Lois will facilitate this group. Cost for book is $5 per person. Class meets weekly starting on January 9.
"Game On" Outreach Group
Do you enjoy playing table top games? Are you looking to share the love of Christ in a practical way? This group attends "Game On"... Midland's board game day. As a group we organize bringing snacks...look to have fun and intentionally build relationships with the people that are attending the event.

Event is usually held the first Saturday of the month but sometimes gets moved to accommodate other events. Monthly attendance is not required.

Faith and Fellowship Group
Our small group meets to discuss the sermon of that day...the scripture, the theme, any questions we have and how it applies to our walk with the Lord. We try to take notes during the morning worship sermon to help us in our discussion. We also have a prayer time with special requests. We end with refreshments brought by those in the group. All ages are welcome.

McGillis Prayer Group
This group meets on the second Friday of every month for desert, worship and prayer. The group focuses on providing a place to know and be known by others, give and receive accountability and grow in your relationship with God.

Tuesday Afternoon Ladies Group
An open group of women who enjoy new perspectives and discussions. This study is lead by Wilma Kasten and Peggy Hoff.

Parenting Small Group
We are a group of families with primarily middle to high school aged children. We meet twice a month for a meal and study involving parenting and teenage issues. We pray together and support each other through life's many challenges. New families are always welcome.
The children hang out/play together, while the parents complete the study and pray for about an hour.

Open Door Ministry Group
The church currently has a kitchen crew of six women that prepare food every fourth Friday of the month. We welcome anyone interested in joining us full-time, part-time or occasionally. Training is provided.

A group of women coming together to encourage, pray, and spur one another on in the Lord. We will study the book "Made Like Martha: Good News for the Woman Who Gets Things Done."

Missions Prayer Group
Missions Prayer Small Group. This group will meet to pray for the missionaries supported by the Midland FMC. We will met the third Thursday
of each month. There are two options; we will meet from 10:00 - 11:00 am and from 6:30 - 7:30 pm in the Ministry Center. Come either time.

Adult Bible study, all ages are welcome. Meets each Sunday in the South Fellowship hall from 9:30 to 10:30am.

Spiritual Parenting Small Group
Spiritual Parenting: As a parent, are there times you're thankful to "just make it through the day?" God wants us to thrive as we raise our children and that begins as we recognize it's the Holy Spirit (not us) who transforms their lives. Join us as we learn how to pass our faith on to our kids. This will be a 12-week small group.

A man and his work - a look at WORK from God's bigger perspective. 6 weeks. Deals with the following topics: Tension, Blueprint, Courage, Essentials, Traps and Catalyzers.

Prayer Class
"If they can do it, so can I" This small group will walk through expanding and deepening your prayer life. Discussion will include instruction on prayer, with some practical experience application. This small group is for newbies and people who are experienced in prayer, who feel the Holy Spirit calling them to more of a passion for prayer, sometimes we just need to be reminded that God is always present to heal, restore and bless...

Financial Peace University
Financial Peace University is a nine-lesson, money-management class taught by America's most trusted financial guru, Dave Ramsey. There is a $115.00 requested cost per set of materials (couples only need one set). However, if this is an issue, please let us know. We have some scholarship money available.

The intent of The Core is to help us develop in the central elements of the faith so that we can grow into a life of serving Jesus Christ and each other. The Core will explore the central issues of our faith in order to encourage spiritual growth, build community, and prepare us to serve. So let’s lean in with our whole hearts and begin to experience God’s full intent for life in His Kingdom.
